Bunting makers wanted

LAMBLEY ARTS FESTIVAL needs many metres of bunting to line the route of the procession through the village on Cowslip Sunday.

Can you help? We need as much bunting as we can get, stitched onto string or tape. The predominant colours should be green and yellow – the colour of cowslips – and the bunting can be made from plain or patterned fabric.

Donna Rumble-Smith, the local artist who made Lambley’s magnificent cowslip banners, says that this is a chance to recycle unwanted clothing, sheets, pillowcases, or waste fabric. Contributions may take the form of completed bunting, or of appropriate fabrics or tape. Why not organise a bunting making party with some friends?

All offers of help are gratefully received. Contact Donna donna@donna-rumble-smith.co.uk or text on 07772 296916 in the first instance just to let her know if you are able to help.
